Growing up I was literally brought up to force myself out of my comfort zone, for a long time I hated it but then I guess I just started pushing myself without even second guessing. Although I knew things were out my comfort zone, I also I knew that I was going to achieve a lot by getting through it.
Life is full of monotony and only when you push yourself to see new places, meet new people and learn new skills will you try and actually break that monotonous routine. I mean yes, going out of my comfort zone at times has been what felt like the most terrifying thing in the world... looking back on in time, you realise the irrelevance that fear was in comparison to the scale of the universe. We are literally tiny, whatever you are brought up to believe or however you feel, our very own human life is very insignificant but obviously also very significant to ourselves.
What I'm saying is Comfort Zones are merely safety barriers of familiarity, so to push ourselves out of this comfort we must remember every single day of our lives thus far have been unfamiliar without us even knowing. As humans we know the entirety of what we are taught, and we know the world as we have seen it... But when we question the thought 'all I know is what I have learnt' and all that I know is what I have seen...
When we wake we know what to expect, right? We expect light in the morning, for a sunrise and sunset, weather, to eat, etc.
But it's like we forget the atmosphere around us and it's unfamiliarities, even though we may not see it. Although you may feel that a situation is uncomfortable, you have just learnt to feel unfamiliarities... although, they are actually rather familiar.
As humans we must make a goal to get out our comfort zones as much as possible, I mean really we've always been out of it?
Doing things that may feel scary, are honestly nothing.
We are literally so insignificant it really is worth laughing over at that beautiful fact.
